Accounts Assistant - Music Clients - Entry Level Role, suitable for Graduates / School Leavers

A leading and successful Accountancy firm in London, who service solely Music clients, are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

No experience is required for this role; it's an entry level position suitable for graduates / school leavers.

For over 20 years, the firm have experienced continued growth and now service some very well known bands / artists including BRIT award winners

You:

Educated to A Level (or equivalent) or degree level
Ambitious and wishing to start a career in Accountancy
Passionate about music
Motivated to study for ACCA

The Role:

Maintaining books and records for clients using Sage Line 50 / Xero.
Posting purchase and sales invoices
Posting credit card transactions and reconciling statements
Posting bank and tour transactions and reconciling at month end
Preparing VAT returns
Assisting with day to day running of Touring activities
Daily review of banking and cashflow for clients
Corresponding with suppliers and artist management to gain approval on purchase invoices to pay
