Home from home childcare setting based in Edingley, Nottinghamshire - we serve Southwell, Farnsfield and the surrounding villages. We welcome children from 6 weeks old until they start school offering a variety of activities, resources and most importantly, fun

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

Working towards
Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
Plan and implement ageappropriate activities and learning experiences

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
:

Providing challenging and stimulating ageappropriate activities for all children in a safe and nurturing environment
Taking part in First Aid training as required
Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access, and attitude in aspects of service delivery
Supervise and engage children in play and educational activities
Observe, assess and support children's development and progress.
Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
Supporting children's selfhelp needs.

Being creative and enthusiastic

Following Safeguarding and health and safety regulations to support the nursery to maintain their ofsted standard
Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure smooth operation of daily routines

With a Swift Childcare apprenticeship, you'll get a full-time paid position, group and one-to-one training across all aspects of the early years, and a qualification at the end of it.
