We are looking for a European Operator with a minimum of two years' experience in European road and/or multimodal operations.

This fast-paced role has a clear progression plan and offers great bonus and reward schemes to recognise dedication and hard work.

You will gain not only operational experience but also key commercial skills whilst managing the day to day relations with our Partners, Carriers and Clients.

European Operator Role Requirements:

2 years (minimum) experience within a European road freight role
Experience of calculating costs and charges
Knowledge of freight terms.
A good understanding of calculating cube, loading meters and chargeable weight.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote to both prospect and existing clients all Uniserve European services.
Understand and utilise One World as the main operating system.
Understand the accounting processes and show commercial awareness to maximise profitability.
Ensure good negotiation and contractual conduct.
Monitor new and lost clients on a weekly basis and keep your Supervisor and management advised.
Ensure estimates are allocated for all expected costs and our sales invoices are raised in a timely manner.
Ensure all files have been costed, charged and completed correctly.
Always protect the interests of the business and escalate any areas of concern to your Supervisors and Managers.

Daily Routines and Responsibilities

Receive bookings from Customers and liaise with our overseas partners and suppliers to arrange appropriate transportation.
Ensure all shipments are entered and up to date in our supply chain management platform, One World.
Plan and operate groupage, part load and full load trailers for both imports and exports.
Arrange collections and deliveries.
Prepare customs documentation for our Customs department in Dover.
Deliver excellent customer service to all our clients ensuring we are keeping them updated and meeting KPI's.
