Engineer Surveyor - Lifting / Pressure
Location:

Salary:
£35,000 plus depending on experience.

Engineer Surveyor:
About the Role
We are looking for an Engineer Surveyor to join our team
You will be working from home, ideally based in West Yorkshire around Huddersfield / Bradford / Leeds although we have a flexible attitude to your location as we have clients across the North of England.
- You will be carrying out Thorough Examinations on a wide range of equipment in accordance with the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR).
- You will organise your own diary, liaising directly with clients and booking appointments to inspect plant on customers' sites.
- Full administration support will be provided including final production of reports so that the engineer's time is focussed on examining plant.
- You will receive training from both internal and external sources to ensure that you are comfortable and competent to carry out the inspections required.
Unlike a lot of inspection companies you will not be writing up the final reports yourself as full administration support will be provided.

You will be a "competent person" as defined by the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations, competent mechanically and in your attitude to your work.
Essential:
- A mechanical engineer with sufficient handson experience and/or academic qualifications.
- Willing to work on site in all weather, travel, and stay overnight if required (although this is not frequent).
- Ideally you should be eligible to be accepted by the "Engineering Council" at Engineering Technician grade or above.
- A full driving licence.
