Our client, a reputable nursery in Peterlee, is seeking for a Nursery Assistant. This nursery is renowned for its unwavering dedication to providing top-tier early childhood education.

Position:
Nursery Assistant

Location:
Peterlee

Employment Type:
Full-Time

Shifts Pattern:
Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 6:30pm, 40 hours a week.

Salary:
Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

You will work closely with experienced educators, assisting in delivering high-quality care and age-appropriate learning experiences.

Your warmth, patience, and creativity will contribute to the children's developmental milestones and ensure they have a positive start to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support in implementing educational activities and playbased learning.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
Contribute ideas to curriculum planning and activity preparation.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
Passion for working with young children and contributing to their growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Relevant childcare certifications or willingness to obtain them.
