I am looking for a Repairs Surveyor for a role in the Wiltshire area with a leading company in the housing sector.

The company are offering flexibility in this role which involves coming into the office 1 or 2 times a month for meetings, you will thereforehave control of your own diary.

This company offers a great training programme and focus on a healthy work-life balance.

The Repairs Surveyor role will have an hourly rate of £24-£30 as well as the opportunity to be apart of a growing and exciting team.

Skills needed in the Repairs Surveyor role:

Good organisation and self-management skillset
Extensive experience within repairs surveying
Relative experience of building maintenance in a local authority or other registered social landlord
Experience of working directly with tenants and able to represent the company on a good front
Mould and damp experience are essential
Great communication skills, not just externally but also internally within the company
Good understanding IT as you will be using a tablet for your work

Responsibilities of the Repairs Surveyor role:

Taking responsibility for repair services requests and complaints made by tenants
Undertaking appropriate investigations and raising repair orders as necessary
Diagnose issues and report to relevant job titles
Inspect works and approve invoices or valuations for payment upon notification of completion or submission of a payment request by the contractor
Overseeing minor works, refurbishment work, voids and general surveying
Advise on construction defects and the like, all helping us to ensure we deliver a great customer service
