You'll be supporting the Quality Assurance Manager to work across the children and families system.

Co-ordinating and developing the quality of practice across children's social care and commissioned services you'll play a key part in improving the outcomes of children, young people and their families.

Main Responsibilities
You'll be working with a variety of stakeholders and partners in supporting Children and Families. The work you do will be a real team effort.

You'll be working with partners to:

  • Understand the needs of Staffordshire children, young people and their families;
  • Translate those needs into definable outcomes;
  • Enable the delivery of outcomes within available resources to achieve best value for money;
  • Develop the process and outcomes from a quality assurance perspective
  • Ensure learning feeds into practice improvement
  • Support the methodology and tools for the completion of data collection both quantitative and qualitative
  • Contribute towards the selfevaluation process
  • Contribute to the business planning process across the Children and Families system

We're looking for someone dynamic who can:

  • Complete research using appropriate methodologies
  • Analyse textual information/narrative from a range of sources including audits, children/carer's files and surveys, alongside basic performance information, to celebrate the positive work being done and identify areas where additional support may be needed
  • Use your influencing skills in a partnership environment with the ability to use resources flexibly and creatively.
  • You'll be effective at planning and managing projects within timescales.
