Where will you be working?


BSS is a supplier of pipeline, process, heating and mechanical services equipment; our customers range from large national contractors (the projects we support make us very proud) to small, local independents, our customers are varied so are our jobs.

We are a flagship branch in Bristol, we employ 22 staff and we're looking for an experienced

Sales Supervisor to join our team. Our Branch Manager has created a dynamic, fast paced and lively environment, this role forms part of their senior team, you will have great support around you from day one in a hard working environment.


Hours - Monday to Friday , no weekends

What will I be doing?


No one day is the same as the next in BSS branch life, you will learn our business and our products with our training and guidance and you will be responsible for overseeing a sales team/administrator and our trades counter (team of approx 7).

Ultimately you will manage the full sales operation in our successful branch.

This will include ensuring service standards are maintained, quotations are produced and shared efficiently and with accuracy, managing all orders, resolving any escalated issues with customers or the team and you will work as part of the management team, supporting the Branch Manager to ensure a successful profitable operation is the focus.


What experience do you need?
This is a key customer facing sales driven role, you just need the ability to provide

great customer service, have demonstrable sales experience in a similar environment e.g. merchanting/trade supplies and lots of

drive, confidence, enthusiasm and

passion, we can teach you the rest. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar phone based sales role with great customer service skills and the ability to relate to lots of different people. Self motivated, enthusiastic and organised, you will also have good numerical skills. Full product training will be provided.
