PERMANENT POSITION AVAILABLE IN MANSFIELD

Here at GI Group Mansfield we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work for one of the largest synthetic têxtile production facilities in Europe.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will have a strong sense of safety awareness and be able to demonstrate an understanding of mechanical drive systems, pressure vessels, pneumatic controls, heat exchange units, utility distribution, lubrication methods and materials,fluid sealing methods, pipe fitting.


You will have the ability to use:

  • Cente lathe
  • MIG/MMA welding gear
  • Bending press
  • Band saw
  • Milling machine
  • Pillar drill

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Relevany City & Guilds or HNC/HND qualification
  • Proven mechanical engineering background
  • Production/manufacturing background
  • Flexible approach
  • Team player
  • Reliable
  • Self motivated
  • Practical, hands on approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to make a positive contibution to the team
Hours of work - Shifts
7am - 3pm
3pm - 11pm
Salary
£31,339
Calls out will be required when a machine has broken down or an electrical problem. This will be on a rota basis.

For call outs you will receive 3 hours of salary as a call out retainer, which is built into the salary, and £50 for each call out.
