Signature Recruitment is partnering with a respected educational institution in London to recruit an Assessment Officer.

This is for a full-time, long term temporary role which offers a keen professional the chance to dive into the heart of education assessments, providing indispensable guidance in a vibrant academic setting.

This role entrusts you with the responsibility and primary point of contact for assessment processes.

Your daily contributions will allow for the smooth execution of assessment arrangements, providing clear and accurate advice on deadlines, regulations and serving as the primary point of contact for students and staff alike.

Your mission will be to enhance the student experience by ensuring all procedures, for taught postgraduate and undergraduate programmes are handled with precision and care.

If you possess proficiency in SITS, Moodle, and have a talent for running assessments, this immediate opportunity is your platform to shine.


Assessment Officer Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the endtoend assessment process, ensuring adherence to internal deadlines and regulatory compliance.
  • Offer expert advice to staff and students on assessment regulations and degree awarding criteria.
  • Coordinate exam arrangements, including liaising with External Examiners and collating student marks.
  • Maintain and update assessmentrelated information on Moodle pages and programme websites.
  • Facilitate communication for the Chair of Exam Boards, markers, and administrative colleagues.
  • Proactively engage with students, managing enquiries related to exams and assessments with sensitivity and efficiency.

Assessment Officer Essential Skills:


  • Proven experience in HE assessments or programme administration.
  • Proficiency in SITS, Moodle, and highly confident using Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and a courteous, teamoriented approach.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt within a tight knit team environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 9 months


Salary:
£18.00 per hour

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
