Full-time, Permanent


SALARY:
£30,000 - £35,000


ABOUT US:


We offer property maintenance & refurbishments to a variety of clients from housing associations to high-end estate agents and private clients.

We offer a professional service covering all types of property maintenance.

This could be a carpenter to fit a new door lock, a gas safe plumber to install a new boiler or a full property refurbishment.

No job is too small and, as a result, this means propertiesreceive the care they deserve with a high level of customer service from both office and field staff.


THE ROLE:
We are looking to recruit a Leader who will be able to grow and support their team.


KEY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
  • Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
  • Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
  • Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
  • Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring that team follows process when carrying out day to day duties as below:
  • Jobs booked according to process
  • Materials ordered as and when needed
  • Works descriptions are user friendly
  • Travel time entered correctly
  • Correct timings allowed for Job (including key collection time and parking time)
  • Spot check Jobs booked in for geographical locations / engineers skills sets / user friendly descriptions/ booked in correctly on Planner
  • Ensuring engineers are booked with enough work for the following day
  • Manage the stock room, ensuring team keep it tidy and materials labelled
  • Assist Operation Manager as and when needed to support Estimating team
  • Conducting meetings with Engineers as and when needed
  • Attending monthly reviews with staff
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly reports to be sent to Operations Manager
  • Support and assist with staff induction and training
  • Maximise Google reviews

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
Experience working within a property maintenance company

Experience in using Microsoft 365

Ability to multi-task

Great attention to detail

Ability to prioritise and work under pressure

Good interpersonal skills

Good re-call / memory of ongoing jobs

Quick learner and eager to learn and grow

Strategic person who is a problem solver and be able to

Respond quickly and appropriately to an ever changing environment

Ability to lead and take direction and be accountable

Able to interpret and present large volumes of data

Experience in / ability to support staff development & recruitment
