We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team.This role will be focussed on supporting a core of Year 8 students with a variety of Special Educational Needs throughout their time here at Yardleys School.
Duties will include supporting the activities of these individuals to enable them to participate fully in their learning and access to the curriculum.
This will include working across many different curriculum areas, liaising effectively with teaching staff and supporting the SENCO in assessing and monitoring the provision in place for these students.
Experience of supporting students' learning in a school setting is essential.You will need to be educated to at least GCSE level, with a recognised Level 3 teaching assistant qualification according to the Birmingham City Council list and have a good working knowledge of ICT.
