Experienced Support staff required for 12 hour support shifts 08:00 to 20:00

or a

24 hour shift from 08:00 to 20:00 some with Night sleep ins

To support Children & Young People in Supported Accommodation in Bradford, Shipley or Halifax.

Fixed work allocated to ensure continuity of Support for CYP.


We are looking to hire experienced looked after care Support Worker's to join our amazing team on a part time or full time basis.


We offer support to care leavers, children & young people also unaccompanied Asylum seeker children (UASC) aged 16-25, your role is to help prepare them for independence.


We want to ensure the best experience of transition to adulthood, to empower young people to become as independent, self-reliant and confident as possible,


Soon to be Ofsted registered therefore we require high quality support staff whom are able to write accurate and detailed notes, must be able to complete documentation such as risk assessments, body maps and incident reports.


We support vulnerable children whom may have experienced Child sexual exploitation (
CSE), Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), Sexual Abuse, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Self-Harm, or Mental Health.


There are numerous provisions throughout Bradford, Halifax and Shipley housing up to a minimum of 4 Young People in each home.


Your job role is to ensure, assist and support with employment, education or training, cooking and housekeeping also daily key sessions in budgeting and life skills etc.

As a Support Worker for Young People, your main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Support and work within a team or 1:1 / 2:
  • Promoting independence
  • Ensure high standards of professional conduct at all times adhering to and following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Providing a safe and secure environment
  • Dealing directly with Social Workers and other Health professionals

Must have excellent report writing skills using a computer therefore must have Microsoft office skills.
As a Support Worker, it is desired that you have:

  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care/Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent or working towards
  • 1+ years' minimum experience with working with Children and Young people in Supported Living.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 48 per week


Salary:
£10.42-£11.00 per hour
