Description

Our client is seeking a 1st line ICT Technician to be based in their Hackney, London School.

The Role:

The client is seeking an experienced ICT Technician (preferably with experience in a school environment) able to provide first class technical support for hardware, software, basic network management/administration, telephone systems, documentation, helpdeskand consumables.

Experience Desired:

Experience of working in an IT support role within a school environment
Office 2019, office 365, Windows 7/8/10 OS hands on experience
Customer care experience, liaising with IT users using a helpdesk portal.
Experience of installing and configuring computer hardware, telephones, printers, scanners and software.
Experience of working in and supporting a VMware virtual environment
Experience of using and administration of users in office 36
Basic troubleshooting of Servers and server related hardware and software and escalating where necessary
Troubleshooting and administration of Interactive whiteboard technologies such projectors, Interactive Whiteboards, Interactive Flat Panels
Basic troubleshooting and Administration of Antivirus software such as McAfee
Experience of Active Directory administration such as account and group creations both in Office 365 and AD
Administration of Netsupport Classroom management and Netsupport DNA
Experience of working on and operating an IT Service Desk and ticketing system
Basic Administration and troubleshooting of Wifi systems and escalating where necessary
Experience of using centrally managed MDM solution for managing and administration of mobile devices such ipads, phones, laptops, Chromebooks
Take part in setting up Audio Visual equipment for events
Knowledge of windows server 2012 & 201
Knowledge of windows networking TCP/IP
Knowledge of software deployment and installation
