An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking, dynamic Safeguarding Team within the ICB in Leeds.

We have a full time post:
Specialist Safeguarding Practitioner for Safeguarding Children and Adults.

We are committed to getting the right people for the role and happy to consider both part time and full time applicants.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse. A Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner (Health Visitor/ School Nurse) qualification is desirable but not essential. You will have a broad knowledge of safeguarding, acquired through qualifications, training and work experience.


The post holder will work as part of the ICB in Leeds safeguarding team to ensure a high-quality safeguarding service is delivered to staff groups throughout the ICB in Leeds and Primary Care and will be required to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.


The post holder will support the ICB in Leeds and primary care to meet its statutory requirements and responsibilities in terms of strategy discussions and as part of the Front Door Safeguarding Hub for domestic violence and abuse.


The post holder will be proactive in the planning and delivery of safeguarding training in accordance with the Safeguarding Training Strategy.
