Digital Media Assistant in the UK**, you'll be a part of creating and delivering amazing support, while also enjoying the satisfaction of being part of a unique culture.


What You'll Be Doing:


This Digital Media Assistant role will assist in the creation of digital assets to be used within our training content.

This includes an emphasis on filming and video editing work at our training centre in Daventry and on location (if required), plus the creation of rapid e-learning modules from scripts, animations and explainer videos, still photographs, and visual assets such as e-brochures, certificates and posters.


This role forms part of our Design team, who are responsible for designing and creating blended learning solutions for the automotive industry.

The Digital Media Assistant will support our Instructional Designers by working to their brief and creating digital assets that form part of their proposed solutions.

The Digital Media Assistant will also support events and other training initiatives at the Academy by filming with our in-house camera equipment and carrying out post-production editing.


During a Typical Day, You'll:


  • Creating digital media content to agreed specifications and quality standards, incorporating latest style and design ideas.
  • Setting up and operating cameras, lights, microphones and other video equipment.
  • Filming of live and streamed events.
  • Video editing and audio postproduction.
  • Optimising footage for the appropriate delivery mechanism, including classroom presentation, virtual classroom and social media.
  • Creating basic illustration and animations.
  • Creating rapid elearning modules from a given script.
  • Adhering to inhouse procedures and processes for workflow, project progression, file management, archiving and rights permissions.
  • Maintaining a log of project work, with breakdown of tasks, deadlines and task durations.
  • Maintaining a catalogue of videos, and a library of broll footage that could be reused.
  • Setting up digital content on our LMS.

What You Bring to the Role:


Experience:


  • Practiced experience of creating digital media content, with a strong focus on video and animation creation.
  • Demonstrable experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software to edit and manipulate media, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrable experience of Articulate Rise for development of rapid elearning.
  • Experience working within the automotive industry would be particularly advantageous.

Skills:


  • Excellent knowledge of Vimeo, Pagetiger and Vyond preferred
  • Strong visual design skills.
  • An interest in digital media and keeping abreast with industry trends and good practice.
  • A passion for developing learning content that is fun and engaging.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Able to collaborate as part of a team, take direction from others, and work alone as a selfstarter.
  • Good customer relationship management skills
  • Good attention to detail and strong focus on quality control.
