As
Delivery Manager you will play a key in achieving a Fairer Westminster by leading the end-to-end delivery of new digital services for the council.

Your role will involve working across the whole of the Digital and Innovation portfolio,supporting activity across core IT and technology, customer and digital, and our Smart City ambitions.


Working closely with the Head of Delivery, you will contribute to our delivery management practice, working with other Delivery Managers to build a shared community, and take an active role in the councils shift to agile ways of working, continuously coachingacross the entire organisation.

Through the way the teams will work, you will drive a change to the culture of the organisation as part of the Digital and Innovation portfolio.


Your profile

  • Experience of delivering end to end digital and IT projects across a large, complex organisation
  • A knowledge and understanding of Agile and Lean tools and techniques
  • Proven experience of building positive, influential relationships with a range of both internal and external stakeholders, including an understanding of political drivers
  • Able to successfully lead teams through the full product lifecycle. Able to identify which tools and techniques should be used at each stage, develop sustainable support models and deal with potential risks across or between all phases of the lifecycle
  • High level, proven interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a matrix team of project and operational professionals.
  • Experience of making difficult decisions through the analysis of relevant information and risk assessment.
  • Experience of managing large portfolios, unlocking bottlenecks, using governance and escalations process to support, and ensuring delivery of outcomes
  • Competitive salary package of
    £47,568 £69,954,dependent on experience
