My client is a well-respected and exciting business operating in the Manufacturing and Retail space within the Automotive Sector.

As part of their continued expansion, FRS have been engaged to assist with the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their business working from the offices in either North East Coventry (Ansty) or Solihull (B92)

Reporting into the to Managing Director this is a key and lead role in the management of company finances but also providing commercial insight and recommendations for improvement

Overview

We are looking for a reliable Management Accountant to assist senior management in making critical business decisions by analysing and presenting key financial data.

You will oversee accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, budgets and risk analysis to provide insightful management information and advice to support the growth and profitability of the business.

Duties

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts of the business (P&L, Balance Sheets and Cashflows)
  • Preparation of forecasts and agree financial plans setting financial objectives for the management team to deliver growth
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to align the business to the financial objectives. Report and track performance against the agreed KPIs to drive actions that maximise opportunities and manage risks
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting system of the conversion process to:
  • understand product profitability
- identity profitability improvements
- inform pricing and product strategy decisions

  • Prepare business cases and capital appraisal analysis to support capital expenditure or expansion plans
  • Provide financial analysis and insight of potential strategic options to enable comparisons between options for decision making

My client is ideally looking for a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with previous experience gained working across Financial and Management Accounting and confidence to operate as the lead for all aspects of finance including leadinga small team.

Those working within practice but seeking a move into industry could also be a very good fit for this position.

Systems:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills essential.
  • Experience with Xero accounting software or similar

A basic salary of £30,000 to £45,000 + Benefits, Bonus and Perks of using the company products can be offered.
