The Opportunity:


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Indirect Procurement Operations team and will require an experienced administrative individual to support the performance of the Category Procurement teams.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Administrator will join a team of seven other individuals to drive the Indirect Procurement teams to deliver our business objectives.


WHAT TO EXPECT

The Role:


  • Act as one point of contact for the Indirect Procurement team on general queries related to procurement process or wider department issues
  • Responsible procurement approver for emergency payments for all business departments liaising with stakeholders, buyers and finance to ensure the process is followed correctly
  • Responsible for P2P process for the department and other business areas where appropriate via SAP and PCARD
  • Account management (including P2P) of Lyreco for stationary provision to all JLR UK sites
  • Coordinate the vendor master process for the department working with the vendor master team to manage priorities, supporting buyers with the validation and completion of documentation and training on the process, and liaising with suppliers and stakeholders where relevant
  • Provide administrative support to the Category Procurement teams
  • Provide administrative support in the entry, manipulation and reporting of data
  • Provide PA support to the Procurement Director including diary management, booking travel, and receipting expenses
  • Liaising with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation.
  • Book venues, catering, and general events logistics
  • Assist with the coordination and organisation of supplier events when required
  • Attending meetings, taking minutes, and circulating notes
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as requested

WHAT YOU-LL NEED

Experience Required:


  • Previous experience working in an administration role
  • Proficient analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced, changing organisation
  • Detail orientated with good organisational skills
  • Comfortable with data management
  • Excellent IT skills particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills, both within immediate team and with other departments
