Agora Talent are excited to be working with an iconic British Retail PLC in their search to find a new Interim Management Accountant.

This popular heritage brand has developed a truly unique image in the mind of consumers and offers the chance to work witha friendly and supportive team whilst developing their experience within a highly regarded brand.


The role will report to the Group Internal Reporting Manager and will ensure that month-end reporting is completed in a consistent, accurate and timely manner that is coordinated with global reporting standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Take responsibility for the consolidation of all group management accounts.
  • Prepare the CFO monthly Board Trading Report and maintain consistency with other reports and sources of information.
  • Take ownership of weekly directtoconsumer performance reporting across the global group. Work with the Regional Finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting to group standards.
  • Work alongside other finance teams such as FP&A, Group Accounting, Supply Chain and Regional Finance to drive consistent reporting.
  • Understand the business forecast and budget process and how this affects reporting and work alongside FP&A to communicate potential issues or omissions.
  • Help implement any new accounting standards or initiatives across the business.
  • Ensure all transactions and processes align with the Group Accounting policies and procedures.
  • Adhoc support is required when necessary.

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Confidence to work with various stakeholders within the business across different departments.
  • Experience within Retail/FMCG desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills.
