Description

You will be reporting directly into the General Manager.

The role will be to provide the highest level of guest service, creating a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the pub, whilst adhering to company and brand standards.

Is confident to make recommendations to guests, including upsell items to maximise the sales potential. Performs check-backs within the prescribed time frame after guests have received their food.

Identifies when a guest is showing signs of being dissatisfied and work within the company policy guidelines to resolve the complaint, notifying the senior management team that they have done so.

Is vigilant in identifying when a guest is ready for the next part of their service, including clearing dishes, offering to get more drinks etc.

Focusses on food delivery, speed of service and quality, in line with brand requirements to ensure a consistent and excellent dining experience for the guest.

Sells and serves drinks to the required specification.

Prvious experience is desirable but not essential

Duties:

Greeting and seating customers
Taking orders for food and drink
Serving food
Serving alcohol
Cleaning and resetting tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware as needed
Answering phone calls
Placing takeaway orders
Prep or side work
Preparing cheques and processing payments
Assisting kitchen with plating and garnishing menu items as needed
Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes, etc.
Reconciling daily cash transactions
