Description

Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number of CNC Turners / Vertical Borers to join our prestigious client near Oldham on a permanent basis.

The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation.

Hours 2 shift rotation

Week 1 Monday - Friday

Week - Monday - Wednesday 8PM - 6AM / Thursday 8PM - 5AM (33% premium for nights)

Job Description:

Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC Vertical Borers using Fanuc controls machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
Aid where required in the fitting department
Overhead crane operating experience

Required Skills:

Timeserved with demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC Vertical Borers working to very tight tolerances.
The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Fanuc controls
Must have experience working on a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Inconel, Brass and other exotic materials
