Description

Head of Brand Marketing and Communications, a fantastic opportunity to join an International Animal Welfare Charity, based in Central London.

Offering Home Working, with ideally one day a week in the London office.


As the Head of Brand Marketing & Communication, you will play a critical role in achieving the new 5-year Fundraising and Communication strategy.

The strategy is focused on increasing brand visibility, driving supporter growth, engagement, and income. Youwill;

  • Lead a team across external comms and digital marketing, who are responsible for developing brand awareness and creating issuebased digital campaigns. These campaigns will both mobilize and engage the public and supporters to support the causes work, whilealso enhancing the charities visibility and reputation in the sector.
  • Be instrumental in developing and championing a new content strategy that enables the charity to tell compelling stories to a range of audiences. Your team will be responsible for producing key content and managing the organization's website and socialchannels.
  • Work collaboratively with other functions to design and implement a mobilization strategy, building a meaningful movement for change on issues affecting working animals globally.


For this Head of Brand Marketing & Communication role, we are seeking a highly experienced communications professional with a proven track record in brand building, content creation, and audience engagement.


  • Experience of providing strategic direction and team leadership across several specialist functions, including multichannel topoffunnel engagement and associated data analytics.
  • Able to work closely with fundraising colleagues and external agencies to align appeals and campaigns with the brand, stories, and content strategy.
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully handling sensitive issues and managing significant risk through a strategic communication and media handling approach.
  • You will be an effective and encouraging leader and collaborator, capable of inspiring great team performance and working towards shared objectives.
  • You will have a deep understanding of the growing importance of content and content strategy.
