Technical Qualifications & Required Experience

CSCS supervisors card preferred.
Basic knowledge of the construction industry useful but not essential.
Previous experience of site supervision in a construction environment beneficial
Basic computer skills required.
Experience in commercial catering operations desirable but not essential
Knowledge of the UK Event Industry desirable but not essential.

National Travel is involved with this role.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership for PKL and subcontract teams, in order to facilitate the successful completion of projects on time and in budget
Manage quality issues to ensure that the standards specified by the client are met
Liaise closely with the client on all matters relating with the project
Ensure that all HASAW requirements are met and that PKL's HASAW policy is followed.
Carry out toolbox talks as necessary.
Ensure that all personnel attending site on behalf of PKL sign and understand the method statement.
Ensure that daily signing in sheets are completed by all PKL personnel and contractors.
To set a high standard of personal appearance in all aspects of any project team, to include
Work tightly within the client contract and ensure that all contractors working for PKL have clear scopes of work. Ensure that any changes or delays by the client are communicated back to the Project Manager.
Preparation and readiness of all materials to include Links and unit trims as required for the installation of projects.
Ability to do material take off's for projects to enable the ordering of materials required for site installations for ramps, steps, links and unit trims.
Ensuring that materials are loaded in good time for site installations. Working closely with operational staff to ensure this happens.
Keeping the PSD bay in a tidy condition at all times, ensuring that any rubbish generated is disposed of into skips daily.
Assist Technical support as necessary for any ongoing maintenance issues on the hire fleet while on hire. This can range from roof leaks, floor repairs, doors repairs etc.
Assist in other areas of operations as necessary.
