Assembly Operative


Are you skilled in refurbishing and stripping train wheels? We're looking for a dedicated
Assembly Operative to join our clients team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Refurbish and strip train wheels to exacting standards.
  • Work across shifts: either 2shift pattern (62, 210) or 3shift pattern (62, 210, 106).
  • Handle heavy lifting and manoeuvring of equipment.
  • Utilize various tools including grinders, chisels, drills, sanders, and saws.

Requirements:


  • Experience in mechanical fitting.
  • Ability to work in a shiftbased environment.
  • Proficiency in using grinders, chisels, drills, sanders, saws.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and moving around heavy equipment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£14.42-£16.82 per hour
