Accounts Assistant
Who we are:
We are a Property Management firm exclusively functioning for the management of assets on behalf of a group of family offices.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, documentation and filing procedures, and reconciling accounts. with a cleanup activity
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and uptodate general ledger records.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial statements.
- Assist with accounts payable, including vendor invoice verification, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the creation and management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing meaningful financial insights to drive decisionmaking and support business growth.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering requested documentation and answering inquiries.
- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is required.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Prior experience maintaining accounts for a property portfolio under various strategies (Rental Yield, Development etc) across Commercial and Residential proprerties.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Demonstrated drive and enthusiasm for supporting a fluid and growing business.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and embrace new challenges.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion with sensitive information.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Based at our Stratford Offices, and occasionally based in Barkingside Offices
Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
