Legal Secretary


Duties:


  • Audio typing, legal documents, etc in the following fields:
◦ Wills & Probate
◦ Court of Protection
◦ Conveyancing

  • Making initial appointments and dealing with enquiries
  • Dealing with clients both in person and on the telephone
  • General office duties
  • Ensuring client and contact databases are updated.
  • Providing reception /telephone answering cover when required.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working for a legal practice.
  • Fast, accurate audio typing.
  • Working knowledge of Phillips Transcriber (or similar audio), Microsoft Office
  • Word & Excel, Oyez Forms, Case Management System (Insight Legal)


We are looking for a talented Legal Secretary to join our small friendly firm based in Bath, with an ethos of giving a truly bespoke and caring service to their clients.


As an experienced secretary, you will provide secretarial services to 3 fee earners within the firm, along with assistance to and from 3 support staff.


Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
