Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Assistant you will work in the finance team and report to our Financial Accountant.

The role will have general responsibility for the purchase ledger from suppliers for the UK Companies and will assist with the monthly payroll.

In addition, the following tasks and activities are part of your responsibilities:


  • Dealing with invoice queries;
  • Reporting from NetSuite for bill payments and progressing to approval for payment;
  • Set up bill payments in the bank accounts;
  • Reconciliation of payments in Netsuite to the bank accounts at each month end;
  • Create financial journals in NetSuite as needed;
  • Set up new vendor records in NetSuite as required;
  • Administration of the petty cash account;
  • Make adhoc payments as requested;
  • Process staff expenses through SAP Concur;
  • Reconcile credit card bills and process through NetSuite;
  • Update the Purchasing SOP as required;
  • Update the GDPR flowcharts as required;
  • Help the finance team with all audits & SOX requirements;
  • Assist with the processing of the monthly payroll.

Qualifications:

  • A finance qualification such as AAT or similar;
  • Approx. 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • You are proactive with good attention to detail.
