Do you have previous retail or customer service experience? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Our Boots Opticians store in Swindon are looking for a Retail Optical Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team.

No previous optical experience is necessary as onsite training and support will be provided.

The key responsibilities of a Retail Optical Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Assist with contact lenses and dispensing glasses
  • Perform work accurately

The person
The key qualities of a Retail Optical Assistant include:

  • Previous experience working as an optical assistant
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to be flexible with working hours
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic with a cando approach
  • High standard of written and spoken communication
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the UK
