The Pharmacy:

Medicines Procurement & Provision service has a current opportunity to recruit a part time individual to join the team.


Aspects of the post will include:

  • receipt and issue of medicines
- completion of electronic and paper records
- interaction with suppliers and clients to provide and promote a responsive and efficient service.
- review and approval of invoice and financial statement documentation
- completion of electronic and paper records
- interaction with suppliers and accounts departments


The ability to meet the safe moving and handling requirements of the post, with any aids or adaptions that may be required, are essential.

This role requires repetitive lifting and long periods of physical activity.

Previous hospital or Pharmacy experience would be an advantage, although not essential. Full training in all aspects of the post will be provided.

Located on the border with Wales in the shadow of the Black Mountains, we provide acute and community services across Herefordshire and into parts of Powys and run Hereford County Hospital and the community hospitals in Bromyard, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.

Worcestershire is our neighbouring county. The post holder will be required to travel between sites.
