Overview

greenwellgleeson are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for an Established Company based in Minworth, Birmingham.

Role Responsibilities will include

  • To code invoices, process them on Navision and get them authorized by managers before completing posting. To challenge any coding from managers that is not within the normal range of GL codes for invoices
  • Set up new accounts, checking that all necessary information has been obtained
  • Updating any information on supplier accounts including change of address, bank details etc. Ensuring any changes to sensitive information are approved prior to any changes being made
  • To ensure invoices are processed accurately with correct VAT coding
  • To review VAT invoices prior to coding to ensure they are valid VAT invoices
  • Carry out any adhoc requests from colleagues/management
  • Processing employees' personal expenses on Navision checking that all receipts etc are present
  • Previous working knowledge of Purchase Ledger/Accounts payable
  • Good Communication skills
  • Respectful of working environment
  • Good Excel and word skills
