Description

This is a predominantly brand ambassador/sales & lead generation role based in our London Showroom, at Chelsea Harbour, known as the world's premier destination for design and decoration excellence.

The showroom serves the needs of our clients in London, nationally & worldwide.


Engaging and working with key Interior designers (who may be new or existing customers) to identify projects, develop specifications and provide samples and technical information and best advice, to assist our clients in choosing and specifying the right materials for their project then handing the warm leads to the sales team.


With the majority of footfall coming from Interior Designers, and a large percentage also coming from HNW end users, it requires you to be able to develop memorable relationships with both types of clients.


What will I be doing?

  • Ownership of the showroom which is focused on supplying architects, designers and highend residential clients with quality natural stone, tiles and other flooring solutions
  • Responsible for maintaining the showroom, displays, sample stocks and brand mage. Carry out required daytoday activities and tasks to maintain the high presentation standards of the showroom and the service it provides.
  • Enter all customer information & associated tasks into the CRM in realtime, logging all meetings to keep accurate records of footfall. Track all live opportunities through full use of CRM to ensure they are secured
  • Ensure adequate cover for the Showroom for any key events or absences.
  • Actively support marketing with the Spring & Autumn trade shows that the Design Center host plus other brand building workshops
  • Network with similar/parallel showroom brands in the HNWI sector forcrosspromotion of the brand and drive footfall
  • Understand the direct sales region
  • Catchment areas of local competition, potential accounts, trends within the area & key events.
  • Fully responsible for the showroom, handling easy win smaller sales in the domestic project sector, coordinating with the regional sales team.
  • Supporting the regional sales team with follow up of leads.

How will I be doing it?

  • Advise in the selection of products and concepts for interior designers as well as enduser clients
  • Engage with Interior Designers identify projects, develop specifications and provide samples and technical information, upselling wherever possible to build relationships that deliver repeat business
  • Produce comprehensive and professional looking mood boards for presentations to clients and customers
  • Plan & structure meetings & calls against a predefined framework
  • Work closely with the Bespoke department to understand how the offering fits into different categories of customers.
  • Proactively develop your industry and product knowledge to use storytelling to capture attention and talk meaningfully
  • Be an brand ambassador in your personal presentation, online activity, and day to day interactions.
  • Seek out continuous selfdevelopment & commit to training to become a 'client coach' based salesperson.

How will I succeed?

Reporting - ensure CRM is logged with all meetings, outbound calls and tasks.

Productivity - focus on customers that work on aligned projects, to gain profit generating specifications.

Analysis - increase GP sold volume by promoting high GP products and volume moving lines where possible.

Collaboration - work with Marketing to ensure content is provided to keep social media channels and marketing collateral promoting the location.


How will I be measured?

Revenue - contribute to achieving the team target through pipeline management

Accounts - increase the number of engaged contacts in your region that have visited the showroom

Full diary - proactively encourage meetings in the showroom, with ownership of the footfall number

Profit - increase GP by minimising ad hoc discounting

Up to date - ensure no discontinued products on display & showcase new ranges effectively.
