An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care assistant to join our dynamic hard working family on Ward D57.

These roles are essential to the experience of our patients, their relatives and carers and they complement the clinical care provided by our doctors, nurses and therapists.

D57 is a 30 bedded Healthcare of the Older Person's Admission unit which is fast paced, but also an area where we provide excellent care and strive to continually improve our service for the better of our patients.

You will be delivering hands on patient care within unit and provide care in conjunction with the registered nurse.

You will work alongside the nurses, assisting in admitting our patients, caring for our confused and acutely ill patients and assisting with activities of daily living and providing support to patients and relatives.

You will also be expected to assist transferring patients on chairs/trolleys to our step down wards. Cleaning, tidying and stocking up also is a daily task.
