A1Personnel are currently recruiting for a
CMM Far arm inspector/operator, on behalf of our client based in Wickford.


Main duties will include:


  • Operating and programming faro arm
  • Creating programs by using CAS models
  • Creating programs from technical drawings when needed
  • Inspecting jigs, fixtures, and simple components
  • Creating reports for customers and internal reports
  • Maintaining faro
  • Calibrating faro arm daily when in use
  • Travelling within the UK and worldwide for business needs
  • Reporting and damages
  • Ability to work extra hours when needed

Extra duties when required:


  • Operating and programming CMM machine
  • Calibrating machine before use
  • Quality inspecting
  • Checking components from CNC workshop
  • Checking fixtures or jigs on the final stage for any missing parts, damages and quality issues
  • Inspecting sub parts and making sure they are produced in line with the required standards
  • Ensure all products are shipped and packed correctly

You will require:


  • Faro arm experience is essential
  • Previous CMM experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • Flexible approach
  • Good communicaiton skills
  • Able to work within a fast paced environment

Hours:

Monday to Friday
8am - 4:30pm OR 6am - 2:15pm (choose hours to suit you)
