Poundbakery and Sayers is part of S&PB Retail Ltd and has over 120 shops across the North West, North Wales, Yorkshire and Midlands areas, with plans to expand even further

We provide our customers with a quality take-away food service in many high street locations with great tasting products including sandwiches, savouries and cakes at excellent value prices.

We are recruiting a part-time Transport Administrator to work within the Transport Department at our busy Gower Street site in Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EY.

Check and effectively maintain the Company's systems for WTD and tachograph rules and regulations.
Monitor and maintain records and working hours for agency drivers.
Input and monitor drivers' holidays and sickness absence, maintain the timekeeping and attendance system, process sick notes.
Regularly update the WTD system, ensuring the data is up to date and accurate.
Create and provide daily reports to the Transport Manager regarding tachograph information.
Process any driver wage queries.
Provide various reports for internal departments as requested.
Answer calls from our stores and deal with any problems in a timely manner.
Maintain record of defects and action required work through our maintenance provider.

Experience and Skills:

Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook (or equivalent)
Previous experience gained in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience working with TMS (Convey Web) is preferred but not essential.
