About the role


We have an exciting opportunity to join the Development and Alumni Relations Team at Kellogg College as our Alumni Relations and Events Executive.


You will play a key role in fostering excellent alumni relations that will build and strengthen relationships between the College and its community of alumni, friends, students, and donors to maximise engagement with the College.

In developing engagement activities, you will help to unlock philanthropic support for the College's fundraising objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Development and Alumni Relations, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of a programme of activities to strengthen and raise the profile of Kellogg's alumni community, in the UK and overseas; and for supporting the implementation of the College's fundraising strategy.


You will be joining the University of Oxford's most international college, with a unique mix of students: it is the University's leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students.

The College's wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic disciplines in the University.


About you


You will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with a wide range of people, including students, staff, external partners, and international visitors.

You will also have strong organisational and communication skills and be able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.

You will possess an understanding of privacy and GDPR and have demonstrable experience of event and project planning, with a clear eye for detail.
