Venn Group is currently working with an NHS ICB, who are recruiting for a Data Architect to join their dynamic and fast paced team.

Rate:
£ PAYE) to £ Umbrella) per day

Location:
To be confirmed

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Duration:
To be confirmed

Responsibilities:

Responsible for decisions made during the course of duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate
Participate in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines and principles
Develop ProofofConcept projects to validate new architectures and solutions
Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other crossfunctional teams to architect, design, develop, test and release features
Define standards for naming, describing, governing, managing, modelling, cleansing, enriching, transforming, moving, storing, searching and delivering all data
Define the vision, strategy and principles for data management
Optimise performance of queries and ELT/ETL procedures
Develop and maintain a formal description of the data and data structures including the data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries and technical metadata
Management of a small team
Responsible for one or more budgets and/or income streams of delivery
Collaborate with Data Engineers on data model, its maintenance and optimisation as well as endtoend data driven integration strategy
Previous experience as a Data Architect
NHS/Healthcare experience
Significant experience with Microsoft BI solutions (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Experience of developing ETL process
