Greenscape Energy are seeking a new team member to help us expand and grow as a business and really make a difference.


We are seeking to appoint a full time Accounts Assistant to work on an initial Nine Month Fixed Term Contract with a view to offering permanent role following.

The main purpose of the role is to manage the purchase ledger and payroll within the business. There is also the requirement to assist with sales ledger.

You would be located at our office, The Energy Shop in Woodbridge Road.

  • Process payroll and dealing with all payroll queries.
  • Post and reconcile company bank accounts
  • Check and input supplier invoices
  • Matching of Purchase Orders against invoices.
  • Processing of all supplier payments including generation of a weekly payment run
  • Running aged creditors report each week on a Thursday for Creditors review with Financial Manager.
  • Maintaining the supplier ledger and keeping accounts reconciled and up to date
  • Credit card transactions to be posted and reconciled each month in time for month end
  • Processing of customer payments and any refunds
  • Assisting the Finance Director with Ad Hoc tasks.


Applicants must have payroll experience working with a large number of employees and good Excel experience and must be available to start by Monday 10th April.

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm with one hour unpaid lunch.
