The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker to join Hampshire County Council as a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) working 37 Hours per week.

As LADO you will ensure that safeguarding allegations against those who work with children and young people are managed effectively and fully considered. Working within a multiagency context you will use your extensive experience of social work and safeguarding to provide advice, guidance, support and challenge to organisations that work with children when one of their employees and/or volunteers faces an allegation and in doing so you will be helping to ensure children, young people and families in Hampshire are protected.
