Established in 1987, Sanko Gosei UK is a first tier supplier in the automotive industry, producing both interior and exterior moulded, assembled and painted components, we currently have a recruitment need at our state of the art robotic paint plant Sanko Technical Coatings for a
Paint Sprayer:

Job Role:_

To paint components to all customer verified specifications.

Objectives:_

1) To perform paint spraying activities to the specified customer quality standard for outgoing internally produced products.

2)

To support the technical manager on all requested activities based on business needs required within the paint facility IE:

Jigging, loading, prepping, cleaning, paint spraying, masking, paint mixing, polishing, general plant cleaning and upkeeping activities of the full facility etc.

Duties to be performed:_

1) To perform paint spraying activities in line with the IATF 16949 quality standards.

2) To ensure that all parts are prepared, jigged and thoroughly cleaned prior to painting.

3) To mix and filter all paint materials to the paint suppliers specified TDS.

4) To document and verify all mixed paint materials are to the specified

TDS IE:
Part number, batch number, mix ratio, viscosity, temperature, filtration, PH value etc.

6) To ensure all paint stocks are well organized via the FIFO system to avoid any obsolete materials and colour mis matches.

8) Have knowledge of plant operational procedures including oven tracing for full curing.

9) To maintain high levels of 5s housekeeping practices at all times throughout the paint facility.

10) To always adhere to STC H&S policies to protect yourself and all other employees.

11) To cover for other Sanko associates as and when required.

Qualifications/Experience:_

1) To be able to perform this position effectively you must have experience preferably within the paint manufacturing industry.

2) Must have basic numeracy and literacy skills.

3) Willingness to undergo relevant training as and when required to further your skill base.

At some point you will be asked to go onto shifts at which time the applicable shift premium will apply.

Overtime:_

On completion of your full contracted hours any overtime worked will be x 1.5.

Friday night between 2200 and 0600 is x 2

24 days holiday per year (excluding bank holidays)

3% Company contributed pension scheme.

Full-time - permanent role.

£14.00 per hour

Must provide evidence of settlement status if you are an EU national.
