Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking a Business Development Manager in the West Midlands to sell bathroom products to the retail and contract market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager to join a forwardthinking company.


Responsibilities:


  • To maximise bathroom sales, increasing turnover in line with the Business Strategy and promoting products within the UK, to achieve monthly/annual sales targets
  • You will be responsible for the development and management of existing accounts
  • You will be expected to create and conduct presentations to customers at all levels
  • Attend sales review meetings with Key Account decision makers
  • To effectively manage site visits
  • Collating product feedback specific to the market, which will include sales opportunities, accurate sales volume forecasts and latest market trends
  • To compile and present market overview and sales reviews to the Managing Director and/or Directors on a quarterly basis
  • Working in tangent with the 'retail' divisional BDM's, targeting sales through specific regional merchant accounts
  • Working to the agreed predetermined sales targets for the financial year (July
  • June) and use best practise to endeavour to achieve these targets
  • Utilising your working day in an effective manner, ensuring you have made the best use of your working day/week (you are reminded that travelling time should not be included as part of your working time)
  • Report any problems or issues to the Sales Director as soon as possible
  • It will be necessary, and will be expected, for you to spend regular nights away as part of the requirements of the job
  • You will be required to attend any training courses the company deems necessary to enable you to continue to carry out your role effectively
  • You are required to keep accurate files of all customers, including all relevant personnel contact details
  • You will represent the company, its product, and the company name, fairly acting in good faith, and always operating in the companies' best interest
