HR Administrator - London, UK - Permanent full-time role + hybrid working

The Role

Key aspects of the role

  • Forming and maintaining employee records.
  • Updating databases internally, such as sick / maternity leave.
  • Processing all new starter documentation, updating HR system with employee information; ensuring all relevant visa/immigration documentation is filed, collating all information on staff qualifications, professional memberships, etc.
  • Being a point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.
  • Coordinating onboarding, including induction programmes for new starters, buddy allocation, etc.
  • Checking overtime hours for staff, recording time in lieu.
  • Providing staff references/verification of employment and admin of all other staff correspondence.
  • Coordinating the performance management process and monthly catch ups for new starters.
  • Coordinating offboarding (scheduling exit interviews, leaver letters, etc.)
  • Ensuring all information on staff benefits is up to date.
  • Keeping up to date on recruitment needs in London and Oxford.
  • Assisting with arranging interviews.
  • Uploading job adverts on the website.
  • Provide ad hoc admin support on HR projects.

Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR administration or recently graduated in Human Resource Management
  • This role would suit a fresh graduate looking to work in Human Resources
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of Human Resources functions, processes, and best practices
  • Understanding the implications of working in an HR function
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Applicants should be motivated individuals with a positive attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills, excellent spoken and written English
