Responsibilities:

Lead the Science department and oversee the development and implementation of the KS5 Science curriculum.
Provide guidance and support to teachers, ensuring effective teaching practices.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and support as required.
Collaborate with other coordinators to promote crosscurricular integration.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all Science students.
Stay uptodate with advancements in Science education and teaching methodologies.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science Education.
Proven experience teaching Science at KS5 level.
Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate a team of educators.
Passion for delivering highquality education and achieving outstanding results.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic educational environment.
