Role:
Front Office Developer

Contract: 12 month FTC

London (2-3 days hybrid)

£80-95k + pro-rata'd benefits

The company:

A global asset-management firm that is driving new and innovative technical solutions.

The role:

You'll join the Fund Management team which is focussed on automating investment processes. They mainly use Python, SQL and VBA to build out attribution and pricing models.

Two of their developers have been seconded to another project in the business, sothey need someone to backfill this position for the next 12 months.

All being well, there is potential for this to turn into a permanent position at the end of the contract.

About you:

You're a specialist in Python and SQL development.

Preference is for someone from an investment / asset-management background who understands how to build out complex financial systems within a highly regulated environment.

They have a VBA specialist, soyou don't need knowledge of this.

One of their planned projects is to migrate some of their VBA code to Python, so any experience in refactoring would be a big plus.
