Job Description:

Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintain accurate guest accounts and provide accurate, helpful information.
  • Attending to all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner, constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
  • Maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
  • Providing quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during checkin, checkout and throughout their stay.
  • Maintaining control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Maintaining strict security procedures with credit card transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality/privacy
  • Maintaining communication channels between Hotel guests and all Hotel departments both verbally and in writing as required.
  • Handling all calls promptly and professionally, greeting all callers according to Accor policy and transfer all calls to relevant departments responding to requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Documenting all internal and guest messages, with accuracy, to be distributed according to specified Hotel procedure.
  • Making reservations and handling guests' reservations with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maximising sales.
  • Attending to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors
  • Ensuring all equipment is kept in good working order and used only for the purpose for which it was intended.
  • Being fully conversant with departmental fire and evacuation procedures.
  • Assisting with Food and Beverage department duties as needed.
  • Providing efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
  • Leading by example when attending to guest requests. Show efficiency in constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
  • Taking initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers (internal or external) are positive and productive, call the Manager on Duty if difficulties arise.
