As a Digital Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital products and high quality designs that meet the needs of our clients and the business.

Your primary focus will be on delivering innovative, user-centric designs for client projects as well as bringing design thinking to projects, and new techniques to enhance our current digital products.

You will be expected to lead on projects and work collaboratively with the wider design team and other stakeholders, to deliver excellent client outcomes and help develop the Konvergent Design Studio.

You will have a wealth of demonstratable experience through the entire end-to-end project lifecycle within your diverse portfolio.

As well as the technical skills, you will also be able to build strong relationships with clients and possess great stakeholder management qualities.

Communicating effectively with both clients and management to keep them up-to-date with project milestones is essential to this role.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Design customerfirst products and solutions ready to be built, tested and developed further to meet the needs of our clients
  • Pushing the usability and market success of new and current interactive digital products, enabling us to fulfil our ambitious business objectives
  • Creating wireframes, low/hi fidelity prototypes and visual designs that effectively communicate the product vision and user experience
  • Running and managing ideation, brainstorming, user interviews and stakeholder workshops to experiment with different designs and validate assumptions
  • Conducting research and analysis to understand customer needs and behaviour
  • Work closely with business teams to find solutions to design challenges that appeal to clients and ensuring our designs are always usercentric and genuinely impactful
  • Constantly challenging yourself and the team on how we work, helping to adopt new practices and tools, suggesting and implementing new ways of working to streamline our processes and deliver value for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines and style guides.
  • Taking technical briefs and translating them into high quality engaging journeys and product experiences.
  • Delivering projects within strict deadlines.
  • Communicating productively with clients and management to keep them uptodate with key project milestones.
  • Staying uptodate with the latest design trends and emerging technologies.

Attributes:


  • 3+ years in Digital Product Design
  • Bachelor's degree in design, humancomputer interaction, or a related field.
  • Showcase a strong portfolio of digital products and creative solutions previously worked on, preferably with evidence of ROI
  • Have expertise across UX and UI; user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, typography, iconography, colour and layout skills.
  • Strong understanding of usercentred design principles and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
  • Experience in leading projects from brief to delivery.
  • The ability to grasp client needs and consider most suitable solutions.
  • Confidently and passionately present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight.
  • Good frontend development knowledge or experience would be highly beneficial

  • Figma, Sketch and other industry standard software/tools

Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
