My clint is an award-winning social housing provider, looking for an experienced Client-Side Project Manager to join their successful team.

The PM will be responsible for project management services for the efficient and successful delivery of construction,refurbishment and maintenance works by the companies' external contractors.


Duties:


  • Perform and exercise the role of Contract Administrator as per JCT contracts or Project/Service Manager as per NEC contracts.
  • Prepare timely project management execution plans, incorporating RACI matrices, in conjunction with the RIBA Plan of Work, incorporating milestones and gateways.
  • Establish, monitor and evaluate Key Performance Indicators to fairly, effectively and successfully manage the contractor in terms of its contractual and statutory obligations.
  • Assist in the preparation and issue preconstruction information, specifications and tender documentation as required.
  • Proactively maintain and protect the company's legal position including supporting measures of litigation or alternative dispute resolution.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues as required.
  • Produce correspondence, written communication, reports and record and maintain computer records using inhouse and other IT systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Prepare and offer technical solutions to problems or variations by issuing written instructions including sketches or drawings.
  • Attend sites, measure and evaluate contractors' works progress, prepare and issue written instructions and variations in accordance with contracts.
  • Investigate, resolve and provide timely response to complaints when requested and provide feedback all in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Participate in resident and other meetings and events and proactively represent the company.
  • Attend, chair and minute various meetings, including stakeholder and contractors, as required.
