Job description

Epping Forest District Council is looking for to recruit a Waste Support Officer to join the Waste Management team.


This post is required to work in a very busy waste management team based in Epping Forest District and take responsibility for a number of support functions within the team.

Knowledge of M3, whitespace and other databases an advantage.

You will be part of the recycling sampling monitoring and the completion of the composition systems.


Work patterns will normally be Tuesday 9am until 12pm, Wednesday 9am until 4pm, Thursday 12.00 until 4pm and Friday 10am until 2pm.


You will be able to work remotely but you must be able to attend during these working times meetings on site, at the depot, within the district or at the recycling plant for monitoring.

In addition, the postholder will require access to a vehicle for business purposes.
