Description
Supporting the Export Finance origination activity and develop outstanding relationships with corporate clients, sponsors, ECAs, emerging market sovereigns, other banks and advisors in direct engagement on all Export Finance activity
Ensuring the successful structuring and execution of ECA opportunities working seamlessly with Sector teams in the execution of Export Finance transactions
Finding opportunities with the Sector teams and pitch ideas to clients (financial information research and business feasibility analysis, early engagement with ECAs and preparation of client marketing materials)
Improving the relationship and dialogue with ECAs and the industry
Supporting ECA engagement in the financing of sustainability transactions and become a lead bank in ECA green financing supporting the energy transition
Supporting the origination and execution effort for project finance advisory and financing of projects with ECA debt tranches
Building and maintaining a leading internal network, ensuring Interaction with Product, Coverage, Credit, Asset Management and Legal to ensure business activity carried out within the ECA business strategy/ECA policy is appropriately aligned

Profile
Knowledge of the ECA market and products across European, US and Asian ECAs and the ability to lead the ECA deal (advisory or lead arranging) from origination, structuring and execution to financial close with maximum independence
Evidence of relevant execution experience with a proven track record of consistent performance, especially on structured deals requiring negotiation of standard provisions of LMA documentation
Solid understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements
Relationships across the ECA sector - borrowers, exporters, sovereigns, ECAs, ECA banks
German or French speaker preferred but not required
Familiarity and ability to deal with financial models will be beneficial
