We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Asset Servicing Senior Administrator


The purpose of this role is to assist the Manager in the delivery of Investment Administration and Middle Office services to assigned clients, in particular Corporate Actions and Income, within agreed quality, timing and output targets.


Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining forthcoming corporate action events within XSP system, liaising with Fund Managers where decisions are required on voluntary events
Ensuring that all future corporate actions are on file for all funds and that the data is correct
To act as an interface between the Corporate Actions or Income Team and all clients, custodians and prime brokers
Supporting change programs that aim to increase automation levels and reduce operational risk, both internally and with external parties in respect of the corporate actions validation process
Issuing Corporate Action decisions to custodian banks within agreed timescales
Obtaining the Fund Managers decision, instructing the Custodian and obtaining confirmation, within the agreed deadlines
Processing and resolving queries received in relation to cash and stock reconciliations and any other client queries we receive

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Solid background of working within Investment Operations along with in-depth knowledge of corporate actions is ideal
Superior attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
Be highly confident in your approach and be comfortable in managing multiple client queries
Strong team player who is flexible and has excellent organisational and planning abilities

The role has a hybrid working pattern allowing for home based and office based working out of HSBC offices in Edinburgh.
